Shaker Aamer e-petition reaches 100,000 signature milestone to trigger debate
Campaigners were congratulated by Jane Ellison MP today on securing over 100,000 signatures for an e-petition calling for his release. Jane represents the Battersea family of Mr Aamer, who has been imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay in 2002 and is the last British resident held there. [Read More]
